FROM THE BRIDE: Our wedding was very DIY – I made almost all of the decorations, and the majority of our decor reflected our family histories! From our family tree of old wedding photos to the monogrammed ‘C’ I made from my great-grandmother’s buttons, we surrounded the day with the things that reminded us of the people we love, including one another. We were supposed to have a grand outdoor wedding, but the weather was sixty degrees and rainy, resulting in a cramped indoor wedding. That made it intimate, although large, and the music room made everything glow from the wonderful honey wood. Basically, our back-up plan resulted in the perfect wedding for us!
