A few months ago our Sales Director, Suzanne, brought her wedding gown out of storage to hopefully use a piece or two for her daughter’s upcoming wedding. She decided rather than giving her daughter, Alexis, some lace to tie around her bouquet or make a ring pillow, she was going to transform her gown into a rehearsal dinner dress. We all swooned over the idea and have been anxiously awaiting the final product. Using the lace off the train of her wedding gown, the seamstress created a lace overlay on the skirt and a lace cap sleeve. We love the idea of using a heirloom or “something old” to create into a gorgeous “something new” We think the dress on Alexis looks stunning!
