These pure petals are the definition of romance and have us swooning. Try pairing them with a cool grey for a more modern look, or a pale blue for a more feminine feel.

I’ve been doing some shopping this week and have some fun finds to share with you.  In addition to the fun factor, I’m excited to see how each of these purchases will photograph.  I love how simple details can completely transform the look and feel of photography.

I fell in love with these forks as soon as I stumbled upon them on Etsy!  These will be a perfect addition to our cake table and could become an heirloom to be used at future weddings, too.  In addition to the “I Do & Me Too”, they also had “Mr & Mrs”, “His & Hers”, “Bride & Groom”, etc., but this design got the vote from both me & Jerad.

Speaking of Etsy, I could spend hours playing on that site…  Another Etsy find that I’ve been admiring for quite sometime is the personalized hanger.  I haven’t ordered one for myself just yet though – still looking for a seller that will be able to fit Jerad’s entire last name on one.  🙂  Often, the dress is photographed while still on the hanger, and this would be a great prop for showing it off.

Hands-down, my deal of the week has been purchasing satin kimono-style robes for my bridesmaids (JCPenney has a great clearance deal on these right now).  They’ll all have matching robes & mine will be pretty similar – should make for some pretty cute pictures while we’re all getting beautiful for the day’s festivities.

192 days to go!

  • Angela - I hope that robe comes in major preggo size! hahaReplyCancel

  • Breeana - Great finds….good luck on the hanger 🙂 I really like the forks and the fact that you plan to keep them and pass them down!ReplyCancel

Take the ultimate girly color of magenta, add stripes and a cool grey and get a perfectly modern celebration. The additional colors of light pink and coral sent us over the moon with excitement.

We are keeping the vintage theme alive today with these adorable antique cans used for centerpeices. They are such an easy and rather inexpensive way to create a vintage and eclectic feel at your reception. We found two cans for under $15 a peice on ebay, but you can also find them at flea markets and garage sales. For a true rustic theme, use old windows to display your guests names and table numbers.

Introduce your theme to your guests through your invitation and carry it out through bridesmaid dresses, centerpeices and decor. We love pairing a teal green with these vintage blooms to really give that retro feel.
