  • HiLLjO - Ours is SOOO much awesomes. “Learning to Fly” by Pink Floyd. Go youtubes it if you’ve never heard this rock ballad.ReplyCancel

  • morgan - My finance chose our song, “I Swear” – Boys II Men. So perfect & his touch on our special day.ReplyCancel

  • Angi - we are dancing to “Rose of My Heart” by Johnny Cash, it’s our tribute to his Mom, who passed away a few years ago.ReplyCancel

  • Amber - I just wanted to say thank you for selecting me as a winner today! I’m so excited to go to the Fantasy Wedding Show this weekend! Thanks again!ReplyCancel

  • Savannah - Our first dance song is “Faithfully” by Journey. It’s my all time favorite song, and it fits our relationship perfectly. My fiance does a lot of traveling for work, so as cheesy as it is, we basically get to fall in love with each other all over again every time he comes home!ReplyCancel

  • Erica - Our first dance is going to be “Steady as we Go” by our favorite band in the world, Dave Matthews Band. We are going to use part of the lyrics on our programs: “Troubles they may come and go, but good times they are the gold, and if the road gets rocky…steady as we go”ReplyCancel

  • Shannon - We got engaged at Walt Disney World and for a little touch of Disney at the reception we are going to have our first dance be Kiss the Girl from the Little Mermaid.ReplyCancel

  • Jen - My fiance was very close to his grandfather who passed away from a heart attack. His favorite band was The Beatles. Our first dance will be to In My Life. It is a way for his grandfather to be a part of our big day!ReplyCancel

  • Alexa - I love first dances! We chose “The world I Know” by collective soul! We love this song and we always request it at weddings! This song has a great meaning and isnt the typical First dance song!ReplyCancel

  • Kathryn - Our first dance song is going to be “I’ve Got the World on a String” by Frank Sinatra. My fiance grew up dancing to Frank Sinatra with his mom, so we thought a Frank Sinatra song would be a good choice, and I have never heard it even played at a wedding.ReplyCancel

  • Allyson - My fiance and I will first dance to “I am the Luckiest” by Ben Folds. Even though it’s a song not many people have heard of, it’s so special for my us. We have many special memories tied to it. My fiance told me he loved me for the first time right before this song came on the radio during our very first road trip together. On the day we got engaged, we went to a Ben Folds concert and he played “our song” as his encore. It was so amazing to hear him singing it live on the day my fiance asked me to marry him! I can’t wait to dance for the first time as husband and wife to such a special song. 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Karron - I think we are going to have the song The Way I am by Ingrid Michealson. because the whole time we have been dating and engaged just about everyday he wrote me a good morning note. We pretty much love each other as we are and will love each other through the people we become. My fiance is my best friend and that song conveys that.

Our ceremony song will be “bless the broken road” by Rascall Flatts, since he’s been through a divorce and having his daughter move away and I have been through brokenness in other ways this song says God bless the broken road that brought me to you, becuase without the brokenness we would not have come together.ReplyCancel

  • Leah - Our first dance song is going to be “Whatever it is” by Zac Brown Band. My fiance sang it to me Christmas evening after a walk through the snow right before he dropped down on his knee to propose!ReplyCancel

  • Christine - We are going to be dancing to “Look at you Girl” by Chris Ledoux. He sings it to me all the time and it melts my heart all over again. Aw I love him!ReplyCancel

With spring right around the corner, we couldn’t love anything more than bright, sunny accents. This pop of yellow will be sure to put a smile on your face and an extra kick in your step! Try pairing a sunny shade with a mint blue, lilac, red-orange or classic black!

  • HiLLjO - Love yellow! We’re using a ton in our wedding with sunflowers, daisies and my yellow crinoline!ReplyCancel

  • Amber - Fantastic! I am using those straws (but with grey striping) to put in our signature lemonade drink, making those yellow cute poms, and incorporating billy balls into my August wedding. Love yellow, and love this article!ReplyCancel

Best of luck, Brides, and we can’t wait to see you Sunday!

  • HiLLjO - Our color scheme is sunflower yellow and all blues. We’re getting married outside and blue is so hard to match exactly so we thought using ALL blues would bounce off the sky and water colors and tie everything together just fine. It’s kind of like Marc Jacobs’ spring 2011 palette!ReplyCancel

  • Angi - We are doing cranberry red with yellow and orange accents. Being able to use the spring flower colors in their natural colors will be beautiful.ReplyCancel

  • Denae - My wedding colors are burnt umber, Choclate, Sage.ReplyCancel

  • Denae - Okay posting again not seeing it. Our colors are Burnt Orange, Chocolate, Sage.ReplyCancel

  • Jen - We are going to have a destination wedding on a beach right in front of the ocean. Our colors are going to be bright pink and yellow. I think the colors will really pop in the pictures especially in front of the blue water. I will also have some orange flowers in my bouquet. I’m so excited for all the vibrant colors of the tropical flowers. I think they will look great!ReplyCancel

  • Amber - Our color composition is graphite, curry, and white. We are throwing an art deco style wedding and want to keep our focus on the beautiful details of the crystal and ornate designs known of that period, but give a pretty pop of curry (a mustardy-yellow) which will go perfectly with our late August wedding. My dress, the Lazaro 3059, is going to look great paired with the romantic arrabelle dress in graphite from jcrew with yellow and orange flowers. I love this color combination and cannot wait to show it off at the wedding!ReplyCancel

  • Savannah - Our wedding colors are lavender, light apple green and black damask accents. We will be using granny smith apples and sliced limes to incorporate the green.ReplyCancel

  • Ashley - We’re using black & white damask pattern for invitations, programs, cake and cute luminary candles. The bridesmaids are wearing a royal blue color called Horizon and all of our flowers will be shades of blue and purples!ReplyCancel

  • morgan - Our colors are lavender and light tangerine – perfect for our spring wedding!ReplyCancel

  • Kamie - My bridesmaids are wearing grey and I am making diy little fabric pink flowers to accessorize them with. The groomsmen are wearing grey with pink bow ties!ReplyCancel
