6 Weddings Inspired by the Pantone Color of the Year 2020: Classic Blue

In 2019, the year of Living Coral, we saw a resurgence of brightly colored weddings and exciting pops of color. 2020’s Pantone Color of the Year, Classic Blue, reminds us of tradition, a sense of home and nature. Of course, every couple knows they need their “something blue” on the wedding day. In color psychology, blue is known to have a calming effect, and brings peace and tranquility to every space. Dream big: let your wedding reflect the sky and the waters around you. For more classic blue inspiration, head to our Real Weddings tab and sort by color, style and season.

Richly-Colored Wedding at The Barn at Ackerhurst Dairy Farm

Caroline and Nevin chose their venue for the memories it evoked of spending days at their grandparents’ farms in eastern Nebraska. Family played an important part in this wedding: both the bride’s and groom’s mother’s wedding dresses stood on display, as well as Grandma Holoubek’s lace gown and a scrapbook from her wedding day. The couple booked dueling pianos for the reception, which were a huge hit and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long.
