Celebrating All Brides with Blush Bridal Boutique

The Midwestern wedding industry is an amazing community full of talented, beautiful people. Case in point: the incredible team at Blush Bridal Boutique came to the realization one day that the variety of ages, body types, backgrounds and ethnicities they see in their shop wasn’t being represented to the fullest, so they decided to gather a team and change that.

“We wanted to dress every body, and empower everyone who walks through our doors,” says Molly Gleason, social media manager and event coordinator at Blush Bridal. “We called in favors, reached out to friends and had faith it would all work out.”

Check out a selection of photos that came from this empowering project below.

Bride Blogger Megan: Veil

While I love clothes, my true obsession is accessories. Needless to say I picked my wedding dress without too much hassle (at least in my mind), but I have been changing my mind countless times on what accessories I will wear. Accessories can completely transform a pair of jeans and a t-shirt into an outfit suitable for a date, running errands, a concert or a night out with the girls. The same rules apply to your outfit on your wedding day.

I decided to start from the head down so I can stay focused. I am on the hunt for the perfect veil. I am open to try anything, but I tend to lean towards the simple and traditional. Here are my picks for beautiful and traditional veils, but who knows, you only get the opportunity to wear a headpiece once in your life, right?

Have a wonderful week!

xo,

Megan
