Brides Save Lives: Share Your Story to Win!

BHLDN is celebrating essential workers during this tough time by giving away 100 dresses.

While the world goes through some strange and unprecedented times, there are so many people playing very critical roles that are often taken for granted, despite being the backbone of our communities. From the doctors on the frontlines to the moms who are caring for family members while balancing working from home, they are all playing critical roles, and BHLDN wants to celebrate the brides-to-be who are working in these capacities.

Are you planning your wedding while supporting us and others through this challenging time? BHLDN recognizes how difficult wedding planning can be under normal circumstances, so they are giving away 100 gowns to those who are making an impact during these trying times. Every story is different, and no contribution is too small, so go ahead and share your #BridesSaveLives story for a chance to win your dream gown from BHLDN!

Ballet-inspired Wedding Details

It seems the world of ballet has a lot in common with the world of weddings. Soft, romantic details like tulle, silk ribbons and classic blooms can be found just as easily at a performance of Swan Lake as a they can at a wedding ceremony. In addition to these little details, one of the wedding industry’s favorite colors of the past few years is borrowed straight from ballet style – that’s right, blush pink! This rosy hue has been popping up in wedding decor and trends for years and it is easy to see why. It pairs beautifully with gold and green (among other colors) and photographs beautifully. Below, find some of our favorite ballet-inspired wedding details!

All Buttoned Up

One of the bridal style trends we’re always excited about is dress embellishments. These details can add limitless options for a bride to put a little extra personal style into her wedding day look. At this year’s New York Bridal Fashion week we saw lots of exciting embellishment trends, from lace appliqués to feathers and everything in between. One of our favorites this year (and always!) is buttons. From boho to elegant, this beautiful trend can dress up any style gown.
