First Look Prank and Plenty of Fun at Omaha Wedding

Morgan and Connor met as employees at a Hy-Vee Starbucks. “They were too shy to say anything to each other,” says photographer Deana Johnson, “but about a month after Morgan left to go back to school, Connor slid into those DMs and they’ve been besties ever since!” The couple wanted their wedding to reflect their sense of joy. A big candy bar, a few pranks and plenty of dancing led to a night they’ll never forget.

Couple Scraps Large-Scale Wedding for Intimate Omaha Elopement

Angela and Kyle were in the process of planning a wedding with a high guest count when they decided they wanted to reset and focus on a day that would make them happy and focus on their relationship. The resulting elopement at Le Boullion in the heart of downtown Omaha was a celebration of their love. Surrounded by fine wine and close family, they said their vows before sitting down for a three-course meal. The low-pressure day resulted in treasured memories for the bride, the groom and their families.

FROM THE BRIDE: Jason and I wanted our wedding day to not only be about us, but our family and friends who we could not have done it without. It was always in the front of our minds that we wanted a fun day of celebrating! That was our focus while planning the reception – from the candy bar, to the photo booth, to the special place setting for children! Reflecting back on our wedding day, my favorite memory was our first look. After all the anticipation, we just could not wait to see each other and share a special moment. It was amazing!
