Lauren and Jake hosted a glitzy wedding at Happy Hollow Country Club, where guests enjoyed live music, show-stopping floral installations and a delicious meal. The bride’s stepfather surprised everyone with a firework show as a grand finale to a wonderful day.
These illusion necklines are drop-dead gorgeous! For the bride who wants to stray from the strapless wedding dress, incorporating an illusion neckline is a subtle way to add romance into your bridal look! Check out a few of our favorite illusion necklines below!
There are many things I love about weddings, but one of my all-time favorites is seeing the little ones walking down the aisle. I can’t help but smile when I think of all the little guys we have in our wedding (five to be exact) and seeing them in their tuxedos. I wanted them to match the groomsmen, so they will be wearing full tuxedos – with bow ties and cummerbunds. You can never go wrong when putting tiny humans in formal suits!
It seems as if these last few weekends back in Omaha have each been filled with a little wedding planning. Last weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting with the gal who will be singing at our wedding – it was time to nail down the song selection! The appointment was one of my absolute favorites so far! I had a few ideas in mind going into the meeting, but she really helped to guide the shape and feel of our ceremony. The two most amazing parts of the meeting (besides finalizing our music selections) included her singing for us, along with her putting together songs on the spot. She is so unbelievable talented! I don’t want to share our song choices for the ceremony as I want it to be a surprise, but there are definitely some special and unique touches. I can’t WAIT to hear everything on our wedding day!
With the perfect mix of classic wedding styling paired with a modern twist, Annette and Jason’s Omaha wedding celebration was not solely focused on the couple’s love, but on their family and friends – and not to mention, their sweet pup! From the bride’s beautiful gown to the bright and unique color palette of their wedding-day decor, we know you will love all the details from Annette and Jason’s wedding day as much as we did in these images by Amanda Kohler Photography.
FROM THE BRIDE: Jason and I wanted our wedding day to not only be about us, but our family and friends who we could not have done it without. It was always in the front of our minds that we wanted a fun day of celebrating! That was our focus while planning the reception – from the candy bar, to the photo booth, to the special place setting for children! Reflecting back on our wedding day, my favorite memory was our first look. After all the anticipation, we just could not wait to see each other and share a special moment. It was amazing!
